Trials will prove if we will live by God’s word, be governed by Him, and trust Him or not. He’s looking for acts of faith, not merely confessions. Satan will say, "If you’re right with God, you wouldn't be facing me," and that's one of the great lies. Just because there is a battle doesn't mean you have failed.

Faith is preoccupied with God’s intentions. Fear is preoccupied with men’s plans. God loves us enough to cause us to face our fears, for fear can keep us from the remedy for sin – honesty in the secret places of our souls. When God exposes our fears, it is faith in His will to raise us up that will win the day!

God’s created the world and redeemed us in such fashion that this world’s trials mingled with His sovereign love will refine away all that is out of character with Him. This crucible of refining will purify us to know that “He will never leave us or forsake us.” He will keep us in our darkest hours.

You are made righteous BY GOD HIMSELF. The One who spoke all creation into existence came and died for you. Your standing for eternity is the work of supreme deity. It's not up to you to decide where you stand with God as a repentant believer. It's up to Him! The One who was offended, forgave.

Who or what you relate to the most will determine your course in life. If Jesus is your life, then He defines your identity, and who you are is not what you did today. It’s what Jesus did. Worship is about how you relate to God. When everything seems to be against you, worship will lift you above the darkness.

Don’t be more preoccupied with the human condition than with the divine solution. I can live in a place that God created on earth, or I can live in the God who created all places. He conceals the revelation of His Word in the hiding places of His glory. It’s the secret place every Christian can inhabit.

America has descended into a feelings-based identity and morality, and it’s altering our faith. Feelings aren’t the foundation of faith, God’s word is. Feelings aren’t a sound indicator of a person’s standing with God, faith is. Don’t use your feelings to tell God what you believe. Living by the Spirit does not mean living by emotions; it means honesty, faith, and surrender.

I’ve been threatened by gangs several times while out on the road, both in the states and abroad. I know what it’s like to be homeless for Christ and also, to fail Him. I’ve proved that I can do all things through Christ. He will never leave me or forsake me; and when I’m with Him, nothing is impossible.
